ADVENTURES IN LAKE TAHOE

Our second family vacation this year was to beautiful Lake Tahoe. We started our trip on Monday afternoon, traveling to our first stopping point, Las Vegas. We really did nothing but sleep - got there around dinner time and got up the next morning at about 4am to travel on up to Tahoe.
Just before getting to Tahoe, we stopped in an old mining ghost town called Virginia City. We walked around, rode the train, had some lunch, Rob considered a transfer...
The photo at the top of this post was the view from our room window at night. Great room, great view. Here's another view from our room in the morning:
We did many things while in Tahoe - rode horses, rode the Heavenly Gondola, hiked a little... Austin and I saw Harry Potter, the Order of the Phoenix one night...
On Thursay, we had to leave Lake Tahoe and head back to our final layover - Laughlin. But first, we drove up to Reno so Austin could have some fun at Circus Circus. By the time we got to Laughlin, it was 2am, and we left later that morning at 9am and were back in Phoenix by 1pm. 
It was fun but fast, and we definately need to go back next year to do more stuff! There is so much to do here. Hope you enjoyed a few of our pictures!
